Job Information

The position reports to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Initiate and execute HR strategies and tactical plans in support of the Unit’s business plans.
  • Human Resources budget initiation and variance tracking.
  • Administer the HR Manual, Code of Conduct and related staff policies
  • Recruitment and selection.
  • Personnel records administration and generation of periodic reports
  • Performance management.
  • Coordinate the Unit’s Industrial Relations, Safety, Health and Welfare
  • Training and manpower development
  • Updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

MINIMUM PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences
  • At least 3 years post qualification experience in human resources management
  • Membership of IPMZ or equivalent professional association
  • Outstanding interpersonal, coaching and negotiation skills at all levels
