Our facilitators are from different persuasions but share the same qualities; they are all highly qualified, and well experienced with HR/labour issues. They will provide comprehensive, practical, hands-on, strategic insights into critical issues that are critical when practicing HR in Zimbabwe. Below is a summary of profiles of the facilitators:

  1. Dr Mildred Mahapa – is a renowned business leader with 11 years of experience in the HCM and Strategic Management. She has written many papers which has been published in referred journals. She has also presented and facilitated many conferences and workshops in and other countries such as Kenya, South Africa, South Korea, China etc. Dr Mahapa is currently the Head of Department of the Human Resource Management at Midlands State University responsible for and the custodian of both Bsc and Msc programs offered by the university. She holds PHD in Human Resource Management, MSc Human Resource Management, BSc Honors Degree in Human Resource Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education and Diploma in Human Resource Management (IPMZ)

2. Request Machimbira is the Group CEO – Proficiency Consulting Group international and Director for Learning and Certifications – Wellness lnstitute of Zimbabwe. He is an HR Generalist and Strategic Expert. He is a thought leader and Award Winning Business Coach with the following accolades;

3.  Azhar Khan – Is internationally recognized as a thought leader and entrepreneurial driven person, who successfully worked in Dubai, Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore, London and the Gold Coast, building new start-ups, creating new software ventures and driving strategic change through training and development programs. He coached, mentored and trained people in the USA, Denmark and South Africa and Australia. Virtually he have connected with people around the world to accomplish program and project management for start-ups, SaaS & mainstream business, B2B & B2C.

He wrote books and have topped Amazon’s bestseller list in, Direct Marketing, Marketing, Small Business, and Entrepreneurship. The first release of “In it to Win It” co-written with Tom Hopkins was published in 2012, followed by the “The Ultimate Guide to Success” co-written with Brian Tracy in 2013.

He has a Master of Business Administration Corporate (MBA) from Bond University and a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (MNLP) and Neurological Re-patterning. He is also a Certified Social Media Professional (CSMP – SACS CACI), Master of Social Media and Certified Block chain Professional CBCP. With a wealth of practical knowledge.

4. Isaac Mazanhi – Isaac is an independent HR Consultant. He is an accomplished, versatile HR practitioner with an extensive background in general HR management. He has board-level exposure and has held positions of increasing scope and responsibility for over 20 years in both public service and various private sector organisations. He holds an HR Diploma (IPMZ), Training Diploma (IPMZ), BSc Economics (Hons) (UZ), MBA (UZ), Postgraduate Diploma in Law (Conciliation & Arbitration) (UZ) and he is presently in the final part of his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with the University of London. He is a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), a prestigious accreditation from World at Work, the global leaders in remuneration education. Isaac has also been very active outside formal employment. He is a former member of the EMCOZ Labour Committee. He is an Arbitrator since 2013. He sat on the Retrenchment Board as an employer representative from 2013 to 2016. He is a Fellow of the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (FIPMZ) and served the Institute as Vice-President from 2015 to 2017.

5. George Makings – is an HR/Labour Specialist, has been involved in various aspects of Labour Law and Industrial Relations Management for over 20 years. He has had a significant amount of practical exposure and experience in the various topics addressed in the workshop, having consulted for many major Zimbabwean companies. He also has a very strong training bias, running courses for such diverse organisations as IPMZ, EMCOZ, NCEAZ and various multinational groups such as Lonrho, Anglo, Meikles Africa and others

6. Precious Murena – is Human Resources Director for Lafarge Holcim in Zimbabwe. She holds a Bsc Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe, A Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Institute of People Management in Zimbabwe (IPMZ). She is a leader not only in Lafarge Holcim where she isemployed but her leadership broadens to the wider Cement industry and further extends to leadership at National level. At National level she is a board member Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Pangea Zimbabwe Aids Trust, Zimbawe Advertising and Research Foundation and CZI Mashonaland Chamber. She is a former board member of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe leading the HR Committee on the board. Again at National level Precious Murena is the President for The Institute of People Management in Zimbabwe (IPMZ)

7. Jack Peterson Murehwa – is an established Business Leader. He has held a variety of executive roles including COO of Zimplats and President of EMCOZ. He has held board positions in the financial and service sectors. Jack boasts of the following roles and positions that he held in his career to date.
